ASWD Big Block Party featuring Inaugural Design IT Contest

On Saturday, September 10th, Architectural Salvage Warehouse of Detroit is throwing a Big Block Party, and we want you there!

We've been committed to the community since our inception in 2003, relieving neighborhoods of blight and creating permanent jobs while saving valuable materials from the landfill. Now, we're asking for your help in raising money to fund our warehouse renovation, which will allow us to quadruple the number of families we're able to support.

Being so involved with community improvement, it's only fitting that our fundraiser take the form of a block party - a Big Block Party. With food, drink, and entertainment, we promise to live up to the name. We're also kicking off our first ever Design IT exhibition for Detroit Month of Design, where work from artists in the Detroit and Metro-Detroit area will be auctioned. There will even be a silent auction full of made-in-Detroit goods, and of course a sneak-peak into the warehouse!

Please join us for this afternoon of fun, and help us continue to pursue our goal of uplifting the Detroit community.

Tickets are $45 per person. Children under 12 are free.
