The Architectural Salvage Warehouse of Detroit (ASWD) offers special programs and resources focused on providing building materials to low- and moderate-income families using the salvaged building materials from deconstructed homes in Southeast Michigan.
As of fall 2024, ASWD has expanded its mission to offer no-cost building materials to low-income Detroit residents, providing essential items like lumber, lighting, appliances, and more to help them create safer, healthier homes.
